I’m very excited to unveil the quiz that Kate and I have been building for you…
WHO’S YOUR GODDESS AT WORK?
We created this quiz as a first step in getting to know your own archetypal goddess within the context of your work and your purpose. The quiz takes about 2 minutes:

In her watershed book Goddesses in Everywoman, Jean Shinoda Bolen illumined the deep feminine archetypes woven through the lives, and the psyches, of women. Through her work as a Jungian analyst, Bolen saw that we each tend to have one core archetype, one goddess within us who is most powerful.
Some of us are primarily connected with Diana— the goddess of the hunt and the wilderness. For others, it’s Maiden Persephone— the mystic goddess of renewal and of dreams. Still others connect most with Venus— the goddess of beauty and creativity.
Becoming acquainted with your most prominent archetype is useful, because it helps you see your deepest strengths and points of inner power. Your goddess also offers clues about how to actualize your potential and break into new realms of possibility.

Getting to know your inner goddess can also give you a new perspective on aspects of life you may have struggled with. There are issues each goddess force is particularly susceptible to, which is sometimes referred to as the ‘shadow’ of the goddess or her dark side of the moon.
The shadow side of your archetype always holds buried treasure. Once you possess a greater awareness of why you’re having trouble with something, it’s easier to brainstorm ways to begin to transform.

We created our Goddess at Work archetypal system based on insights from Jean Shinoda Bolen’s work along with our own study in archetypal astrology, the Enneagram, mythology, and the Tarot. We also layered on wisdom from our personal experiences working in business.
The 8 goddess archetypes we elevate each have a special grace and distinct power. You can bring any goddess energy to any role or industry. While at first blush, it may seem like a certain goddess is the only possible match for a specific position, channeling an unexpected goddess energy within your field can often make you stand out in a good way. Being different is an advantage. You see opportunities others miss. You bring ideas to the table others don’t.
Never underestimate the power of your authentic gifts.

As we go through life, all of the goddess energies are available to us. We can call on the goddess we most want to embody and work with her. This is a choose-your-own-adventure situation.
If you want to experiment a bit, try taking the Who’s Your Goddess at Work? quiz a couple of times. Play around with different responses and see which goddesses are behind these various doors. From there, feel into who you most resonate with and also, who you have the most enthusiasm for.
We’re never ‘stuck’ with a certain goddess at work. We can always integrate new archetypal energies into our lives in order to reach our aims. But at the same time, don’t doubt that each goddess is infinitely powerful. It simply may take a bit of creativity to understand how you can harness the gifts of your core goddess in service of the contribution you are wanting to make.
